Azmaria, I know some very good places in Missouri that you should check out. Most of them are in the St. Charles County/Warren County area. Many are well worth checking out, some are just old legends from small town life but others I have visited and had experiences myself.

Does anyone know any good places in Missouri to go ghost hunting? I have tryed looking it up and all I got was a load of nonsense. I cant go to places outside of Morgan County for a long while so anything in this County would be great. If not it will be going on my waiting to do when I get money list. I do not have fancy equipment but I do have a recorder, a really cheap camara and the expierence of living the haunted life. I have taken recordings just here at my house of voices. Men , Women and a little girl. One of the voices I heard sounded like someone I know is alive. A lot of things have happened in just this house that I know something big must be happening here. It seems spirits follow my family no matter where we go.  It seems to be really strong here. My nephew talks to them when he is sleeping. They turn some of the lights on and off and move things. It gets really annoying and I have threatend to sage again. They usually stop for a day after I get mad at them. Time out spirit style?

There is definately a scene in the cubboard or glass door, can't really tell what your looking into there.

I was reading about the jinn/genies in the Middle East or Islamic world and it's quite different to Europe as the spirits are a part of Islam. There's a discussion about the jinn marrying humans which reminded me of other places where spirits and humans married.

This is a picture, cropped, that my wife took by accident while taking a picture of Coco, our dog,  and Cuddles and Shadow our cats.  Looking at it closely I saw what looked like a family to me.  Like they lined up for a photo shoot so we could see who they were.  At a later date we had a friend help us ask them to go to their perfect place and since then they've been gone.

My most recent experiences have been with my deceased father-in-law.   He helps us out here  and there.  He was a mechanic among other things and he's helped us with our car a few times.

I used to see things as a kid. Even throughout my life ive had little experiences here and there. Im the Lead Investigator for my team and we use new and experimental equipment. I have had quite a few experiences since i started.

My first experience with spirits was when I was 5 years old,  at my father's wake.   Everyone else was blubbering and I was still and quiet.  I was thinking there was something wrong with me,  I'd loved my dad,  had some very magickal experiences with  him growing up to that point.   Then it felt like someone was walking up to me from behind.   ( I was back against the wall,  all the chairs were lined up that way)  I felt hands touch my shoulders,  felt as real and physical hands and I knew it was my dad.  I knew my father's touch.  I felt better,  glad that dad let me know that he was fine.   I wanted to tell everyone there was no need to cry that he was with us in spirit and was fine but I felt restrained from speaking out.   Had to let the other's mourn.

Blessings to one and all,
Although I am new to this site, I've had the ability to see/hear & communicate with spirits/ghosts. It's not something that I bring up in general conversation but I have been helping people for a number of years.
I'm very skeptical of myself and don't always trust the information that I get. This is something that I need to fix.
